I feel like the collapse of Mixer may be what started my loss of interest in content creation. We had such a great community on Beam, and I personally had a bunch of stuff (bot commands, custom code, etc) that took a long time to set up, and could not be migrated to Twitch in a way that I could be satisfied with. Having to make the move to Twitch ended up being really discouraging, and I would be surprised if I was the only one who just never got back the feeling of enjoyment that came from streaming on Beam.
